Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)

A PSIM system is a relatively new term used within the physical security industry. A PSIM technology is designed to integrate disparate security systems into a common user interface. PSIM collects and interprets events to help organizations minimize risks by proactively identifying events and alerting the appropriate individuals before a costly and/or dangerous situation arises.

Common Operating Picture (COP)

COP gathers information from multiples sources and displays all relevant information within a common interface. COP ensures that all concerned parties have the same understanding and awareness of an event.
